Atkins Diet Induction Meals – What I ate Today

These are the three meals that I ate today. I do sometimes snack on nuts, pickles, olives, and sugar snap peas. Sometimes I have a side of broccoli, most times not. I am thoroughly enjoying this food and do not feel the need to binge eat or cheat on it. This is working for me and I feel amazing. I have more energy now than I ever had, and the BEST part is, I have no negative thoughts about myself or others. That constant hatred, self-talk is GONE! I can’t even tell you how amazing I feel!

I have decided not to add that many carbs to my diet and stick to induction simply because of the way it makes me feel. When I add foods back in slowly, I can tell what is causing my inflammation. I do not like the way I feel, and I write it down so I can remember not to ever eat those foods again.

Passover / Easter is coming up and I have an opportunity to “cheat” and I refuse to do it! I feel TOO good to go out of ketosis right now. I am eating high protein, sometimes high fat meals and this is exactly what I needed right now for this stage of my weight loss.

I have not been exercising. This is my downfall. I will exercise here and there for 10-15 minutes or I will go on a long walk with my husband but it is completely random when I work out. I am trying to build muscle so I have been lifting heavy weights. I’m focusing on my legs and my back right now because these are the weakest areas.
