In this workout video, I’ll show you a variation of plank exercise a Plank Kickback to Side Step.
It is a pilates exercise that primarily targets the abs and to a lesser degree also targets the glutes and hamstrings.

By adding sidestep you’re forced to use your abdominal muscles more to stabilize and prevent your spine from rounding or arching. Also, with the addition of this move, the gluteus medius muscles (one of the three glute muscles located on the upper side of your buttocks) become activated, which help stabilize the hips and pelvis.
