Diet Eman Speaks about Saving Jews in Holland during the Holocaust

Diet Eman, was part of the Dutch Resistance during WWII. A young Christian woman living in the Hague (she was 20 years old at the time), she risked everything to save hundreds of Jewish lives by finding Christian families willing to harbor them during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Her story is retold in her 1999 memoir, Things We Couldn’t Say ( On September 29, 2016, at age 96, she spoke at the Young Israel of Southfield in Southfield, MI.
