The scripture above comes to one who expects deliverance because of the challenges or circumstances they are facing.
The situations in your life today are caused by the enemy who desires to devour you.
David says though the enemy may encamp against me, I will not fear. Though circumstances rise, do not fear but remain focused on God.
As a church, we need to distinguish the devil from people as we fight a spiritual battle. Whenever you focus the battle on people, you are fighting the wrong battle and ignorant.
The moment you give people attention, you lose the battle. Cease to look at the person and look at the devil behind this person.
Behind every circumstance, there is a spirit which rules. Behind every unpleasant situation of worry, there is the devil who works day and night.
Apart from the enemy attacking one’s mindset, he attacks finances, marriage because it is God’s plan, destiny and the children as well.
We are in challenging times where a child is not at school or in church. Our children are attacked because they are exposed to many things through phones, programs on televisions, cartoons which target children to change their mindset and their future.
As you enter into spiritual warfare, do not despise any battle or the devil because he jokes not.
𝐽𝑜ℎ𝑛 10:10, 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑒𝑓 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑒𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑝𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑙, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑘𝑖𝑙𝑙, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡𝑜 𝑑𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑜𝑦. 𝐼 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑚𝑎𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑚𝑎𝑦 ℎ𝑎𝑣𝑒 𝑖𝑡 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑏𝑢𝑛𝑑𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦.
The enemy is always focused on keeping you in the same life, same diet, same attire, never debt-free, begging and many others. The enemy puts such to hinder your progress since every good thing is ahead of you.
Just like David says, 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑎𝑛 𝑎𝑟𝑚𝑦 𝑚𝑎𝑦 𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑝 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝑚𝑒, 𝑀𝑦 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑓𝑒𝑎𝑟; why? Because He who is on my side is more powerful than the enemy.

1. Demons from sorcerers. In the book of Numbers 22, Balaam was standing to hinder the children of Israel through witchcraft but the Lord was on the side of Israel.
We overcome the enemy, by all means, to get into another life.
Many of the times we get dreams of victory but they never come to pass in your life.
𝑾𝒉𝒚 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔.
1. To make you doubt God.
2. To deter your faith.
Behind witchcraft, there is someone. We don’t have to wage war against him or her but to exert pressure on the demons.
We may be attacked but not overcome.
The battles in your life keep you closer to God and make you grow in Him. The reason why you fear battles is because you are young but one who is spiritually mature stands against the enemy.
𝐿𝑢𝑘𝑒 10:19 “19 𝐵𝑒ℎ𝑜𝑙𝑑, 𝐼 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑢𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑡𝑟𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑛 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑝𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑝𝑜𝑤𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑒𝑛𝑒𝑚𝑦, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑛𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑦 𝑚𝑒𝑎𝑛𝑠 ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢.”
Don’t be scared of he who threatens to destroy you because God has given you power and authority.
2. Ancestral Spirits or demons. When we got saved we became an enemy to the ancestral spirits.
The ancestral spirits rise against us because of family dedications upon our lives. These family spirits are at attached to the spirits of the dead which make your life remain in the same situation.
In prayer and fasting, we enter into the power of victory.
𝑅𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑙𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 12:11, “𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑐𝑎𝑚𝑒 ℎ𝑖𝑚 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑏𝑙𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑎𝑚𝑏 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑡𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑦, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑡ℎ.”
Whenever you testify, you publicly shame the enemy and his wickedness.

1. To check your strength and weakness.
2. To test your faith.
3. To confirm if you are aware of the authority and power that was given to you to overcome.
4. To know if you know who you are.
