Yesterday marked a unfortunate and horrible death, Kim Jong-hyun. He was a talented and succesful artist in South Korea. He unfortunately committed suicide, and I believe that this could of been prevented. He was only 27 and he had a whole life to live. -62% of the people committing suicide are youngsters who struggle with the pressure of High school and living up to the Korean Beauty Standards.
-Every 8 minutes a suicide case is reported.
-Shockingly, The suicide rates In South Korea are higher than Birth rates which makes South Korea to have a very disturbing ratio of births and deaths.
-Aged people are left lonely and ignored and hence suicide is the only option left with them.
-(As reported by the authority) A total of more than 92% of suicides are caused either by Carbon Monoxide poisoning or Jumping off the Han river.
-Though there are multiple hotline booths and multiple sections in the Han bridge that has multiple compliments, This never really stops people from committing suicide.
-About 74% of the suicide survivors die due to post attempt depressions and shame.
-Every Time a famous person dies, the suicide rates increase by 28%.
Talk about bullying, mental health issues or Idol health carelessness issues, It all can be cured and Prevented if we all stand together and fight against all these odds, Reminding the person that they deserve a lot more.
