Greece INIOCHOS 2021 , 7 Nations , 60+ jets participating



From 12 to 22 April will take place the Iniochos exercise in Greece, organized by the Hellenic Air Force. About sixty aircraft of 7 nationalities #Greece , #USA , #Cyprus, #Israel, #UAE , #Spain , #France will train on complex and realistic scenarios.

The 6 Rafale and 5 Mirage 2000 D of the French Air Force , as well as the 5 Rafale of the French Navy have arrived in Andravida, Greece. The French crews were able to discover their playground through reconnaissance flights alongside the other participating nations.

This is the first time that the French Air force has participated in the Iniochos exercise. This presence reinforces the friendship and strategic bond that unites our two countries and our two air forces, as evidenced by the Skyros mission or the recent participation in an air parade in Athens.

1 – Offensive Counter Air Operations (OCA).

2 – Air Defence Operations (ADO).

3 – Counter Surface Force Operations (csfo) including Air Power Contribution to Land Ops (Apclo) and Air Power Contribution to Maritime Ops (APCMO).

4 – RECCE missions

5 – Combat Search And Rescue missions.

6 – Time Sensitive Target missions.

7 – Dynamic Targeting

8 – High Value Airborne Asset missions.

9 – Slow Mover

In INIOCHOS 2021 the following A/C from various countries, are participating:

France with Rafale and Μ-2000D
• USA with F-16, MQ-9 and KC-135
• UAE with F-16
• Spain with F/A-18 Hornet
• Israel with F-15 and F-16
• Cyprus with helicopter AW139
